Big brother 9 preview–A Democratic choice March 10, 2008
Posted by bluenoser in big brother 9.trackback
Americans from coast to coast have election fever. They are flocking in record numbers to exercise their right to vote. They are making their voices heard as the nation faces a very important decision. The excitement continues to mount around this historic nomination process. Will the winner be a female? Perhaps an African-American male? We’ll find out this week, as one of the six evicted houseguests will be voted back into the Big Brother house by you, the viewing public. A quick overview of the candidates follows:
- Alex—Basically, he was voted out of the game because he was seen as being too big a threat. If you want to vote for the candidate who will be ready to go on day one, he’s your guy.
- Allison—If I’m answering that red phone at 3:00 AM, she’s the last person I want to hear on the other end of the line.
- Amanda—There is talk about “reaching across the floor” to those in the other party to reach solutions together. Amanda cheered for both the Republicans and the Democrats while reading the news ticker a few weeks back. If you want a bi-partisan candidate, she’s your woman.
- Jacob—Like Bill Clinton, he cheated on his “soulmate” and lied to a group of his peers. Bill Clinton survived his hearing, Jacob didn’t.
- Jen—She’s the Ralph Nader of this group. She did play the spoiler for a few people once upon a time, but now you look at her name and ask yourself why is it even on the ballot.
- Parker—The African-American candidate wins in this election, and perhaps the other big election in November.
Who will win the vote and get back into the house? Who will win power of veto? Who will be evicted from the house? Tune in Thursday for a recap of this week’s action! Enjoy!

Wow your relations to politics and the BB evictees is great!
Now let’s just hope you’re wrong and Amanda is the one to go back in.
I’m cheering for Parker for two reasons. First, I think he got a raw deal, being paired up with Jen. Is it his fault that they got evicted? I think he deserves a chance without the deck stacked against him. Second, cheering for Amanda too loudly may not go over too well with my wife!
