Somewhere Jenna Morasca is watching Survivor: Micronesia and smiling.  Not since she won Survivor: Amazon a few years back (I’m still trying to figure out how that happened) has anyone gone so far in the game while doing so little.  The fact that Joel, Mikey B and Yau-Man are out of the game while Chet is still around speaks volumes–individually you may be weak, but there is strength in numbers.  That strength may carry Chet a long way, especially if Cirie does what I think she should.

Amazingly, Cirie again finds herself in the middle of two groups.  She again has the ability to change the balance of power in the game.  It looks like Tracy, Chet and Ami are together on one side, while Ozzy and Amanda are on the other.  Erik I suspect could be coaxed into voting with them since he’s very into winning challenges.  That leaves Cirie.  She could stay loyal to the alliance she made early in the game and start picking off the outcasts one by one.  Or, she could get rid of another powerful alliance by voting Amanda off along with the three outcasts.  Don’t forget–Ozzy has that immunity idol. 

Meanwhile, over at Airai, we have two other compelling stories.  It looks like Jason finds Ozzy’s fake immunity idol.  The producers of this week’s preview lead us to believe that he thinks it’s the real thing.  It’s just a stick, Jason….does that look like any immunity idol you’ve ever seen?  Either it’s a fake or Mark Burnett has really cut costs on the show to cover Jeff Probst’s salary.  Speaking of sticks, Jonathan’s injury appears to get worse.  Of all the places for that stick to be lying during last week’s reward challenge.  Like him or not, you’ve got to hope that Jonathan’s game ends in the traditional way, not because of a freak injury. 

Will Jonathan be forced to leave the game?  Will Jason really think that piece of wood is the immunity idol?  Can Chet continue to make Jenna Morasca proud?  What shade of blue will Jeff’s shirt be this week?  Tune in again on Friday for a recap of this week’s show!  May the tribe speak clearly to you!
