As Bon Jovi once sang, it’s all the same-only the names will change. Big Brother and Survivor have proven them right. This form letter will explain both this week’s Big Brother highlights as well as the Survivor highlights from a few weeks ago. Just put the right names in the place with the corresponding numbers and you’ll see what I mean:
(1) at one point was perilously close to being kicked out of this game. Suddenly, due to a strange twist of fate, (1) was thrust into a new, very powerful position-the swing vote. It turns out that everyone else in the game had divided into two separate alliances of four people each. On one side you had (2). On the other, it was (3). (4) approached (1) and guaranteed s/he would go far in the game if he helped them bust up the other alliance by getting rid of (6), their most un-trustworthy player. (1) agrees to the plan. However, just when everything seemed to be pre-determined, (5) approached (1) in an attempt to save (6). This would also save the alliance of (3) and therefore get (5) farther in the game. When decision time came, both (4) and (6) were very confident that (1) was going to vote their way. (1) went back on his/her word to (2), saved (6), & put (2) in a very weak position in the game.
- Ryan (Big Brother) or Cirie (Survivor)
- Joshuah, Sharon, James & Chelsia (Big Brother) or Jonathan, Eliza, Ami & Yau-Man (Survivor)
- Sheila, Adam, Matt & Natalie (Big Brother) or James, Parvati, Ozzy & Amanda (Survivor)
- Joshuah (Big Brother) or Jonathan (Survivor)
- Sheila (Big Brother) or Amanda (Survivor)
- Matt (Big Brother) or Parvati (Survivor)
Good news, everyone! After this week’s action the form letter will be good for at least one more recap! After James was voted out of the house 5-1…..that siren went off again. It turns out that Alex won the public vote to be put back into the game, but but the housemates had the final word. They had to vote to bring either James or the “mystery guest” (they didn’t know which of the six evictees won the vote) back into the house.
So, after Chelsia won the Power of Veto (huge thumbs-up to Adam for giving his $10,000 prize to Sheila to help her ailing mother…and thumbs-down to Ryan for heartlessly taking it away), took herself off the block, some flip-flopping by Ryan, James being put on the block, Matt taunting Joshuah like Ali did Sonny Liston, some more flip-flopping and gossip from just about everyone, and James being voted out of the house by a 5-1 count……he was voted right back into the house by a 5-3 count. Welcome back to square one.
Just like a year on Dallas, this week’s episodes of Big Brother apparently were just a dream. Just a horrible, horrible dream. Tune in next week for another round of power rankings, previews….and to see if anyone actually goes home! Enjoy!
